Wow, I couldn't see it at first since it blends in so well with all the tree branches. I have never seen one.
ReplyDeleteGreat Horned owls are hard to see as they are masters at blending into their environment. This was a parent of two owlets, and roosted in this same tree for a number of weeks. The two owlets could also sometimes be seen until they fledged. The owl viewing season is now over.
