The snow makes my teeth hurt. Those look like different woodpeckers than the more common ones down in Florida. I see red-bellied woodpeckers often and pileated woodpeckers more infrequently, Back to Connecticut on May 1; don't remember which kind I will see there. (Jack)
These are the two most common woodpeckers here, a Hairy and a Downey. They look alike, but the Hairy is larger. I would love to see a Pileated, but they seldom come this far west.
A duet for suet in the snow? I like the way the one is in the air with wings closed. Neat shot.
