From the time that cars were really different from each other. Nice to see.
Nice collection of posters. It was a time when all cars were built in North America.
Very retro.
I love to see the ads and the cars!
A nice review of ads and classic cars. Brings aback memories.
That De Soto is a sweeet ride! Bet you it costs easy 6 figures if restored. Back then they really knew how to make car look cool.
No, actually these cars are more reasonably priced now if you can find one in good condition.
Those were real cars!
My dad bought a new Desoto in the late 40's. It pooped out on a hill, and he forced the dealer to take it back. He got a bright yellow 48 Ford convertible instead. Great ads, Jeff. Thanks for sharing.
"Desoto traveled near and far,Then settled down and built a car."I think that was in Archie comics, although it could have been in MAD.
Love those vintage ads, such a look into history.
I know Dodge and Chevrolet , never heard or seen a Desoto. But I like those vintage ads, the design (of cars and signs) is fabulous!
