  1. I'm wondering if you collect these or if you shot the photos in a museum? They are certainly interesting and could be, in the right setting, entertaining; or in the wrong setting, frightening!

    You are right: those horses are Appaloosa (according to my sources who might be wrong!)..

  2. Hi Lowell, I've friends who collects these masks. Though I would share a few on this blog just because I like them.

    Appaloosa Rising is a novel by Gino Sky about the cowboy Buddha. Sorry about the arcane reference, but I always think of this novel when I see Appaloosa horses. Your fine photo deserved a more direct comment.
