Puddle Reflections

13 comments:

  1. I find sometimes when I'm in a muddle
    I forget wherefore I am
That's when I end up in a puddle
And look down, say "Oh damn!"

    Nice shots!

  2. The first one is so cool - there is the reflection as a layer over the manhole cover so the silhouette (whatever it is) looks like a chrysalis.

    1. Yes, I like that one too. Thought you might like to see the oddly colored hydrant complete with reflection. You get double your money's worth.

    2. Sorry, I totally forgot about the hydrant. Thanks.
Like NatureFootstep said: the US hydrants almost always look like firemen - esp. the hat. That's by design.
But you know what I like most about the second photo is how the orange pillars correspond with the white - I don't know what it is, looks like brush strokes, but these are not brush strokes - the hydrant in between and the reflections of hyrdant, pillars and "brush strokes" make the photo special.
      Certainly something I would print.

  3. I like puddle reflections, but I rarely come up with one that I like.

There is a link to the music hall's website in y October 30 post. The better known artists next week are the Blues Project and Fountains of Wayne.

  5. I just love the first one : the posture make me think of the NY Liberty Statue... The second one is very cool too, in a completly different work.

  7. Cute reflections on the hydrant. The hydrant looks like the upcoming movie in 2013 "banana" (Despicable Me)

  8. I love brick streets! It has been a long time since I've seen/been on one. Great reflections, and so clear.
