Grave Stones

  1. I'm always finding cemeteries in this part of Connecitcut. Some are family plots, I'm sure containing only a few headstones. I have found gravestones dating from the 1700's, and I"m sure there are some earlier. Oftentimes, one can't read the inscriptions. I like your photos here.

  6. This pair is interesting. The older-looking grave is for the person who lived later. I am wondering whether the newer gravestone for the person who lived earlier was provided by a later relative.
