I always wonder why some people think it's okay to put graffiti on buildings and bridges. Great photo, though.
Graffiti "artists" like to put their mark on their community. This is in Brooklyn, NY.
Actually, it's in the Lower East Side in Manhattan. It's the former Essex St. Market. The new market is one block south.

The girl with her back to us has lovely long hair!
That is really sad. It's not art at all but someone's idea of ruining a building to get his tag out there. No respect!
