Pelicans and Cormorants

  1. Looks to me a big group. Is this in the middle of the country our more on the seaside?

    1. This is a small group of the huge White Pelican flock that spends the summer on these lakes. The lakes are located in South Dakota on the northern plains in the middle of the U.S.

  5. The Pelicans also hang out at Klamath Lake in South Central Oregon. They're fun to watch.

  6. I enlarged the pic and discovered a great crowd Of beautiful birds who seem to live together without fighting. Great catch!

  7. Nice. White pelicans are seldom seen on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Not "never," but not common.
