1936 Cord 810/812 Westchester

The Cord 810/812, sometimes called the "Coffin Nosed" Cord, was well ahead of its time in 1936. It was front wheel drive, 170 hp supercharged V-8 with a four speed transmission. It was low, sleek, powerful, and comfortable setting an example for many cars to come. The next front wheel drive American car was the Oldsmobile Toronado in 1965.
