The Owl Bar in San Antonio, NM servers the world's best green chili cheese burgers. They are a treat after watching the cranes and other migratory birds that spend the winter at the Basque del Apache, a larger reserve designed for their benefit with wet lands along the Rio Grande River.
Gosto da publicidade destes Bar/Café.

Who? :-)
ReplyDeleteCan't make an imagination about a green chili burger but after a day in the field everything must taste good so perhaps not bad at all.
ReplyDeleteBird watching does whip up the appetite TFG, especially after an early start!
ReplyDeleteThat sound yummy and I love the sign!
ReplyDeleteNice painting.
ReplyDeleteGreat sign! I'll have one of those burgers, they sound good.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have escaped the northerly storms for a while! Enjoy those burgers!
ReplyDeleteWe have escaped to a much warmer climate here in Phoenix, AZ. It was 73°F here today rather than near 0° at home.
DeleteBosque del Apache is on our list of places to go for birds. Now I can also look forward to having the burger — I tried one at the famous place in Hatch, and also in the tiny town of Patagonia, AZ. Both on birding trips.

Basque del Apache is best near sunrise and sunset when the birds fly out and into wetlands. The Owl Bar is just 7 miles north and well worth the drive for lunch or dinner.
DeleteQuite a sign.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of a chili cheese burger, but I suppose it must be nice.
ReplyDeleteNice mural, thanks for contributing
Sami hasn't lived! I love that sign, and I envy you for your trip there.
ReplyDeleteApache , Rio Grande… words that make me dream!
