Weasel

Interesting that this little tracked vehicle was designed for a commando raid against German atomic weapons development in Norway during WW II that never happened. It was to carry four Special Forces soldiers through heavy Norwegian snow. The Special Forces unit found it worked wonderfully over rough, muddy ground as well as over snow. The Studebaker car company built thousands of these. They had many uses such as evacuating wounded soldiers, laying communications cable, and carrying nearly two tons of supplies where trucks could not go.
