  1. Very nice that wood planking in B&W.

  2. The bridge looks to be "very" old, planking and sparse looking girders. Is it still open to traffic? Nice perspective.

    1. Thank you, David. The bridge was built in 1908 by the Western Bridge and Construction Co. of Omaha, NE. It sits on natural Sioux Quartzite cliffs over Split Rock Creek and has a weight limit of four tons. There was a professional photo shoot going on at the other end of the bridge with a model.

  3. Glad you chose b&w for this photo. Gives the bridge a lot of character.

  5. I love the lines and shadows, and the patterns on those uprights. The people give scale and added interest. Always nice to see photographers photographed ;)

  6. I first thought the shadows were tracks. This is a fine picture-- and I agree that B&W was the right choice.

  9. Now you got me wondering. Have Simon and Garfunkel every visited this community? And if so, did they have guitar and pencil and paper in hand?
