    1. No explanation needed. George W. Quail died in France during WW I while serving in Co 2 of the U.S. Signal Corp of disease, most likely Spanish Flu that killed about half the soldiers who died in this war. Most of this information, and his photograph are on his tomb stone. WW I was the war to end all wars, but that has not worked out well.
