  2. I like the stark drama inherent in this piece. Re your comment on Ocala. I asked the birds what they thought of that bird house and they chirped up.

    1. This sculpture is on the south side of the Commercial Street Bridge over the San Antonio. It was place as part of the bridge constructed in 1915. The sculpture is by Waldine Tauch who was paid $1,000 by the San Antonio Express to complete the work. The two bowls were originally drinking fountains, but they have been disconnected long ago.
