    1. Atome bombs were named after Dashiell Hammitt characters. Little Boy was the Elisha Cook Jr. character is the Maltese Falcon, and Fat Man was named after Sidney Greenstreet's character Kasper Gutman.

  3. Um...why are they on casters? Why are the exhibits only three sided? Do they get out 'away' at night?

    1. Suspect that even without their core these bombs are heavy. That explains the casters. Could walk all the way around both bombs. Don't think either bomb is going "walk-about" at night.

  4. Taken, if you have not yet read the book 109 Palace Street about Los Alamos and the Manhattan Project, run to your closest bookstore.
