  1. Fantastic and very creative post. Funny, too. All those cranes appear in more dramatic form if you embiggen the photo! Great job!

  2. Hilarious take on that book. Embiggen, Lowell???? Is that a Scrabble word?

    1. I was once asked in a Burger King, "Do you want that biggysized?" The poor order taker had to follow illiterate corporate-speak. Had to ask him to repeat his question to make sure I understood what he was asking as he suffered from a speech impediment.

  3. I do not believe leather sandles as OSAH approved for operating a crane...

    1. Would that be Occupational Safety and Health Association, OSHA? They only have jurisdiction over organized work, and have no jurisdiction over personal interests.

  4. Poor grammer and misspelling are a results if texting while walking to a meeting. Avoiding the questions with facts maybe an angle.

    1. You will notice political candidates, all political candidates, either go to a list of facts, or just change the subject to avoid answering a question. It must be a skill learned in candidate school 101. Does that answer your question?

  5. Per my wife I rarely if ever answer any questions directly. Perhaps I also imply questions when asking. So, is it safe to operate a crane of that vintage while having lack of adequate toe protection?

    1. Is is so long as the operator does not drop the clamshell onto his foot. This was a demonstration of the crane's functions, so it did not run for long. I stood to the crane's side well out of reach.

Ah, grasshopper, never make such an admission in print. Might come back to haunt you.

    1. Hi Rita. Not sure when the origami cranes got hung, but know they were working on them back in May
