Bear Hunting in Northern WIsconsin

  1. Is that tiny black dot really a bear?

  2. For years I've heard of a hunter's problem called "buck fever." It's when a hunter becomes too excited and can't shoot straight or at all. I've discovered it occurs with photographers as well. I was too slow, the camera was set wrong, the lens was not zoomed properly. I make just about every error possible, and here is a poor, blurry picture of a distant bear running rapidly away from the camera.

  3. But at least you saw the bear. We'll take your word for it.
