ReplyDeleteThis is the Big Sioux River, and rivers in central U.S. lack tides. Water flow in the river depends on rainfall amounts.
DeleteAmazing rocks.
ReplyDeleteThose rocks are Sioux Quartzite one of the oldest and hardest rocks in the U.S. Rocks that are harder are gem stones.
