Downey & Cardinal

  1. Wow! I'm impressed at your comment over at SC's place. I grind and french press my coffee but you roast your own beans?! Now I want to look into that. Pixie and I came through the storms safely and appreciate everyone's good wishes. There was much damage, road closure and Holmes lost. Even. They will be much clean up here. And in these uncertain times, we only hope that FEMA will operate as normal and not discriminate on the basis of our voting record or racial makeup or any other crazy thing that never mattered in America before. Believe me world, most of us are as upset and puzzled and outraged as can be over the rude crazy old man besmirching our country everyday. Thanks for listening. I just want people to understand that he is deeply unpopular as more of his former supporters wake up!

  4. The Cardinal caught my eye and I didn't notice the Downy at first. Nice catch.

  5. Hi, Taken. I see cardinals and downy woodpeckers in both Connecticut and Florida. Cardinals are easier for me to photograph in CT because in FL they flit from inside one bush to inside another. In CT I can find them out in the open.
